Technically, can the Yankees release A-Rod and get a full-time 3rd baseman?

The yankees will never ever trade arod during this point they will probably bring a player up from triple a or even sign a backup 3rd baseman plus hip recovery after surgery is only 4-12 weeks. Nothing Special.
