What sort of prices will I expect to pay in/around St Petes Beach, Florida for food, drink etc.?

What would be the average price for a meal? we are going next year and never been to USA before. Also if you could recommend cheap accommodation thats clean and nice for 2 adults & 1 teen (boy) that would be good. I keep looking in the brochures and on line but cant decide. been looking at tradewinds and postcard on beach.
