Hold on HOLD ON !...whatever happened to the economic boom that was supposed to bring us all prosperity?

and that was supposed to be so good that all govt coffers would be overflowing with tax revenues and balance the federal budget? that was the reason for the 2 Bush tax cuts right?? How can we be having a severe recession when the super boom never happened and the budget kept being at record budget deficits all along..and even now???
