Do you agree: Feminist Blogging is Virtual Consciousness-Raising? Why or why not?

yes, blogging is doing for feminism what it is doing for most minority groups, allowing their voice to be heard because minority groups often are thought of as crazy, eccentric or deluded when they voice their unpopular views in public. that is why you have a proliferation of atheists on the internet and other minority groups. Plus internet blogging reduced the fear of the stigma that people face when they come out with these unpopular views. Long and short of it, it gives minority groups a voice that they would not have had otherwise and others feel like they are not alone in their way of thinking
