Is this a good sign for college?

So in the mail I've been getting letters from completely random small schools, but also really good schools (i.e. Vanderbilt, Georgetown, etc.) I took the PACT and PSAT in the fall, and as a Sopre I think they were pretty good scores, but not good enough for schools like that to notice. I was just wondering if everyone receives letters like this, or if schools like Georgetown are actually looking into me. Thank you
